Some thoughts about The Flash #55

Whatever happened to Heat Wave?

Barry is still investigating the mysterious new forces but he might be once again too late since one of them is gaining control over a Rogue.

A new arc begins and seems interesting enough so far.

Joshua Williamson offers new installment where he explores more about the concepts post-No Justice. The focus goes to the recently introduced Sage Force and what is able to do to its users. Mind you, is not revealed exactly what it does yet but is definitely connected to the owner's mentality and it apparently can manifest their biggest desires and I'm glad they used Heat Wave for this since he hasn't been that exploited during this run and he's one of the most interesting Rogues.

The sub-plots are also progressing with multiple ideas being developed in the background including Barry and Iris' relationship and Commander Cold's role in the present which gives the read more content.

Scott Kolins' art is classic for the series and he does a decent job here with quite a few familiar images and scenes.

Good read, hope the next one offers more revelations.
