Some thoughts about Superman #3

A war is about to start.

Superman is trying to figure out how to make Earth escape from the Phantom Zone but Rogol Zaar is not going to make things any easier.

This was decent enough I believe.

Brian Bendis offers a new installment where he explores a bit more of this strange situation. The exploration of the Phantom Zone is pretty solid due that the writer introduces a character with a connection to Krypton and so we learn more about its history. Rogol's part in the plot also continues to progress and comes to the most logical development towards the end (although I hope he doesn't become more important because I'm getting tired of him).

The best part for me are the little moments though like when Superman is trying to deal with the chaos on the planet because of the disasters that cause the Phantom Zone and his interactions with people, from the Justice League to normal citizens. My favorite segment is actually about Superman simply stopping a robbery by telling people "Cut it out" and they obeying.

Ivan Reis handles the art and is pretty good as usual with a vibrant style and beautiful characters.

Nice read, hope the conclusion is close though.
