Some thoughts about Teen Titans #17

The Teen Titans are over in many ways.

Beast Boy can't help but feeling lost after their headquarters were destroyed and things are going to get even worse once that he finds new friends.

A new arc begins and so far seems interesting enough.

Ben Percy plays with the ramifications of the last few arc that are finally having an effect on someone like Beast Boy. The writers implements classic concepts that are utilized in stories about teenagers including the sense of exclusion and loneliness that can happen when someone is not part of a group, this is particularly reflected on Gar just like with many other characters that are presented here and the idea is solidly executed overall.

This leads to much more dangerous issues which are revealed once that the story progresses. So far seems like an intriguing direction, I just hope the execution is good since it can be a bit of a delicate subject.

Scot Eaton handles the art and is pretty decent thanks to the detailed character models an clear storytelling. I particularly digged how he made Gar's youtube avatar the Beast Boy from Teen Titans Go!

Good overall, let's see how it continues.
