Some thoughts about Aquaman #7

Aquaman's life is getting more and more complicated.

Arthur not only has to improve the relationship between Atlantis and the surface world but he also will have to deal with the upcoming attack of Black Manta and N.E.M.O.

Well, this issue delivered in almost every way.

Dan Abnett offers a new chapter where he continues his ongoing story and concentrates on several different aspects. From Arthur's mission to make Atlantis a better place to the different people who are involved to the threat of Black Manta and his organization to the appearance of new creatures, etc. You get a lot of bang for your buck in an issue that offers a lot of content.

The characterization continues to be pretty good with the highlight being the relationship between Arthur and Mera as usual but several members from the supporting cast have their time to shine and it was good to see the pair of FBI agents from Abnett's first story back.

Scot Eaton handles the artwork and is decent, his characters are expressive enough and the storytelling works but I wish it was more distinctive.

Solid, solid chapter. Hope the following one is just as good.
