Some thoughts about Wonder Woman #6

Wonder Woman's worlds are about to clash.

Diana has just arrived to a new land and Steve doesn't know how to make her understand what's happening nor make his people accept her. They will need the help of someone who will ultimately become very close to Diana.

Year One continues and this is still the most satisfying story from this book.

Greg Rucka arrives with a new chapter where he explores the contrast between Diana and the rest of the world. The characterization works pretty well with both the protagonist and Steve acting in the most logical way based on the situation but the author also manages to include some fun and charming moments during the course of the story. Steve also receives some good character work by making him face something that happened during the beginning of the arc and is all well-executed.

The plot also progresses at a good pace with new characters like Etta Candy and Barbara Ann Minerva being introduced and their usual traits are preserved while in the case of the latter, she presents some interesting aspects of her personality that will most likely contrast with Diana.

Nicola Scott handles the artwork and is beautiful as usual with special dedication for the character's expressions and a great sense of storytelling.

Excellent issue, one of the best this week.
