Can Honor escape from her past life?
Everyone is coming after The Silencer including her old allies but she has more important things to do like picking up her son from school.
Still liking the premise itself but is lacking something.
Dan Abnett arrives with a new installment which is basically just a big action segment. The issue opens with a fight scene based on the cliffhanger from the last issue and to be honest there's very little to appreciate from it since is not particularly distinctive nor exciting. There are a few character bits here and there and some plot progression but it's mostly lost in the whole chaotic sequence.
And really, the best part comes at the end when Honor has to come for her son and I wish there were more scenes like this to help the contrast between her secret life and her family, as it is it feel like a bit of a wasted opportunity. At least the last page seems promising since the world's deadliest mercenary is coming after her.
John Romita Jr. handles the art and gives me mixed thoughts due that the action is decently done and the characters are expressive enough but his style can get a bit too tiring after a while.
Not bad but really lacking in content and I hope that is fixed in upcoming issues.
