Some thoughts about Deathstroke #29

Is Deathstroke losing his mind?

Slade's enemies have decided to attack together and now they're even putting his own people against him.

This little arc conclude and is decent overall.

Christopher Priest continues his usual exploration of Slade's character in a logical way by revealing how much he has manipulated others over the course of the years and how that eventually comes back for him (which is especially clear in Terra's case). The way how this has been a plan all along from his enemies (which of course include some of his closest people) show the kind of strong plannification that Priest always demonstrates during his work.

This also sets-up an interesting new direction for the series since it continues to plant different plot-points and especially one that is focused on Slade's mind and how it has been manipulated to start losing it.

Diogenes Neves remains in art duties and his work is still pretty solid thanks to the expressive characters and strong action.

Good read, next issue should be interesting.
