The Runaways are a family again.
Everyone in the team is happy of being together again, but that doesn't mean they can leave their own lives behind and even that could cause problems.
This run continues and once again, seems to be on a solid path.
Rainbow Rowell delivers a new chapter where she mostly focuses on character work. The characterization is pretty solid and this is particularly clear based on the conversations between the members of the cast, the different relationships that are being developed here are quite compelling and promise even further development in the future. I'm still not a fan of how some of the relationships, like Karolina and Nico's, are being treated because of their history but still manages to be chaming in its own way. The natural dialogue really helps in that regard.
This comes a bit at the cost of the plot progression since there was very little and mostly seemed like a set-up for the next story but to be honest, it doesn't bother me that much because the dynamic of the team is really good.
Kris Anka remains in art duties and the work is still quite good thanks to the beautiful and expressive characters and solid storytelling.
Good read, hope the next one offers a bit more content though.
