Moon Knight's most dangerous fight is about to start.
Ra has gained many followers and is going to battle Marc to prove his superiority, both reality and insanity are about to clash.
This arc comes to a conclusion and works in some ways but not in others.
Max Bemis brings the final chapter where he tries to reinvent Moon Knight's world and direction. Once again, the writing is pretty distinctive thanks to the witty dialogue and style that presents strong and memorable moments, particularly the ones where he tries to shock the reader with scenes like the fight between Ra and Marc and as mentioned, the new direction seems interesting enough.
That being said, the same things that have been bothering me a few times in this arc are not really resolved. I was expecting that Bemis would address the betrayal of Jake and what seems to be the rape of Marc by both Jake and Marlene but this wasn't even mentioned. Mind you, this might be actually explored in upcoming issues (hopefully) but as it is, it seems like a bit of an unsatisfying conclusion that only bothers to get rid of the most dangerous threat at the moment while leaving the most important character work behind. Praying that this is actually developed.
Jacen Burrows remains in art duties and his work is still outstanding thanks to his beautiful style and wonderful storytelling that elevates the script to new levels.
Not bad but it really needs to start addressing problems.
