The final fight is about to start.
Jefferson has found the true culprit of the current crimes and now is about to face him but things might not go as he expected.
This story continues in a solid manner despite of some problems.
Tony Isabella delivers a new chapter where he explores more about the social issues that exist around Black Lightning and the person who is benefiting the most from them. The social commentary is once again pretty solid due that the writer explores many angles not only from the common people but also from the police who can turn out to be victims as well of this whole situation.
This nicely escalates towards the inevitable encounter with Tobias Whale and it works in some levels but is also a bit flawed. Is basically a typical fight against a powerful supervillain who likes to repeat that he always plans ahead way too many times to be convincing but hopefully the conclusion will be more satisfying.
Clayton Henry and Yvel Guichet share the pencils and their work is quite impressive thanks to the expressive characters and clean style.
Overall a good read aside from the issues mentioned and hope the finale is appropriate.
