Gotham belongs to the Joker now.
Batman has been losing it and the whole police is against him now but things are not going any better for their new savior.
Welp, I was wrong once again, I thought this series was going to conclude with this issue considering how many 6 issue miniseries there are but at least this one presents a good continuation.
Sean Murphy offers a new installment where he escalates the story much more effectively than during the last few issues and shows the climactic battle between Batman and the new army of the Joker. One starts to question how things could have gotten so wrong? Fortunately the writer addresses that not everyone trusts the Joker and in fact they're helping capture Batman mostly because they want to help Gotham, not the Joker.
The character work is once again pretty solid due that we're starting to see how this story was about the rise of Jack Napier as a sane man...which could quickly become into a story about his descend into madness once again because of how the situation is starting to get out of his control and he's falling for his old habits.
Murphy's artwork is quite good once again due to his beautiful and gothic style that gets the best from characters and action scenes.
Pretty enjoyable, hope the pacing remains as good.
