The night is longer than they expected.
Nightwing is trying to investigate where these creatures are coming from but their attack is getting more constant and people are starting to get desperate.
Night of the Monster Men continues and while this chapter is not as good as the opening, it still feels solid.
Steve Orlando and Tim Seeley continue the event in this issue by focusing on Nightwing's perspective and role in the story. The characterization once again works nicely due that the writers manage to explore more about the cast's backgrounds, not only the protagonist's, which is mostly thanks to the dialogue and how it can reveal a lot with just a few details.
There are more hints about the nature of the monsters and how the story is going to progress but aside from that, this feels more like a transition chapter. Not a lot of important stuff happens here but is still well-executed.
Roge Antonio handles the artwork and his style is quite fitting for the story due to the gothic tone he brings, the storytelling is also appropriate.
Enjoyable stuff, not a lot of plot progression but is still a fine read.
