Constantine will need to deal with yet another supernatural case.
Sawmp Thing believes that he needs John's help but John himself will have to deal with his own problems once that he starts being manipulated.
Yeah, this one didn't really work for me.
Simon Oliver offers a new chapter where he explores a bit of the connection between John and Swamp Thing and how it makes him investigate more of the supernatural side of the world. This is typical Hellblazer stuff with Constantine showing that he can both care about his friends and also be an asshole to them while introducing new characters that are related to this particular situation.
However, everything is so dull. The characters who appear are interesting enough and their portrayals are serviceable but they don't leave you a great impression and for that reason, you're not that interested in learning more about their side of the story. Plus, despite of the amount of dialogue and interactions, I feel like very little actually happened here and if it did happen, it was pretty boring to pay attention.
Oh, and Constantine hates Catholics here but he doesn't have the kind of personality that Garth Ennis gave him to compensate for it.
Moritat remains in art duties and his work is still solid with expressive characters and a pretty clean style.
Aside from that, I wouldn't recommend this one. Not one of the best reads this week.
