Is this the end for Archie's love life?
Betty can help but feeling jealous due that she doesn't have Archie in her life and anymore. However, she will have to realize what is more important once that Veronica has no choice but leave.
Well, this series is not afraid of playing with the status quo.
Mark Waid arrives with a new chapter where he continues to explore the relationship between Archie, Betty and Veronica and how each one of them reacts to it. In terms of character work, this is once again pretty successful due that the writer reveals the protagonist's traits perfectly and more importantly, makes all of them likable despite that the whole nature of the love triangle might be against it.
The story is also full of charming moments where the characters are quickly surprised by some developments and they have to act the best way they can which ultimately brings a well-executed and heartbreaking scene.
Thomas Pitilli handles the artwork and is pretty on-point due that his style fits nicely with the tone of the book with expressive characters and strong storytelling.
Yet another enjoyable installment, the next one better arrive soon.
