Jared has lost his partner, Carmen, to the same disease that is currently infecting him and the rest of the world. Now, he will have to fight a whole horde of his own people if he wants to save the person he loves.
This has to be one of the craziest reads of the week.
Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin gray continue to develope the world of G.I. Zombie with its own identity presenting us a story that is a tie-in to Futures End but one that doesn't really fits into that universe and works much, much better thanks to it.
The future is a classic zombie apocalictic one, but it has a lot of insane moments like Jared throwing himself from planes to fight people in the sky (which is pretty much zombie Vs. zombie in the sky!). The irreverence of such scenes is wonderful and one that I welcome completely.
Scott Hampton continues to be the ongoing penciller and his work is as appropriate as ever thanks to his dark and realistic style.
Yet another great issue from this series. If you enjoy fun comics you definitely need to check this out.
