The trickster God is back to do some mischief.
The old Loki wants to manipulate Doctor Doom into facing his younger incarnation and it seems like he has been successful since Doom is about to make the story of Loki ends.
I have been waiting for this book to properly come back and I'm glad it did.
Al Ewing continues to bring a tale full of creativity and style by creating an excellent portrayal for all the characters who appear here. The two Lokis continue to be explored as the different versions from the two fictional Gods who have existed over the course of the years, one being the manipulative devil and the other the guy who actually wants to be a better person despite of his nature.
Then there's also Doctor Doom and the author handles him wonderfully by stating a lot of his best moments and basic character traits which developes a nice dynamic between all the cast.
The art is brought by Jorge Coelho and his work is pretty dark and detailed but it actually fit to this kind of story especially in the most creepy moments.
Overall, a good back to basics for this series. Definitely check it out.
