Daredevil will have to deal with one of his biggest challenges: Meeting his girlfriend's parents.
Then again, is not as bad as it sounds since Matt still keeps with the kind of charm he uses to make people like him, although that also might turn to be a problem. The complications don't end here due that the Purple Man has returned and will commit one of his worst acts yet.
Everything mixed perfectly in this issue.
Mark Waid continues to bring his excellent characterization in Daredevl by creating a great dynamic between Matt and Kirsten which just feels pretty natural. Same case for the conversations between Matt and Kirstin's parents which also present a nice opportunity to exploit.
The Purple Man is well characterized and is pretty good to see him using his abilities in a brand new way.
I have one complaint though. No spoilers here, but a character apparently dies in this chapter and I hope that is not something permanent since he's one of the most interesting in the Marvel universe.
Chris Samnee returns to art duties and the book becomes even better thanks to his presence. The storytelling techniques are quite on-point and he brings a lot of attention to detail which improves Waid's script a lot.
Overall, a pretty good chapter from this creative team. They never disappoint.
