Some thoughts about Strange Adventures #3

How can the investigation continue?

Alanna believes in her husband just like many other heroes do but still Batman thinks they need to keep going with this case no matter what they all believe.

I'm digging the change of perspective here.

Tom King offers a new installment and is getting clear how the themes and focus of each issue will be depicted. Just like the last chapter centered around Mister Terrific, this one is centered around Alanna and her history with Adam. This allows for yet another interesting look at how the investigation is being handled which once again is nicely depicted in segments that jump from the past and present, emphasizing the relationship between the couple with the present scenes showing the gritty reality and the past showing the more classic romantic moments that weirdly enough, are getting more brutal.

I point I don't think I mentioned before was how the media also plays an important role here, they have been present since issue 1 but here their relevance is getting more apparent considering how they're making their own assumptions about Adam's history and how it's being handled which could create compelling contrast between the scenarios.

Mitch Gerads continues to draw present events and his semi-realistic style is still perfect for the serious of tone of those moments while Doc Shaner remains in the past and his art is ideal for the most sci-fi, action-oriented parts.

Great read, hope the next one arrives soon.
