Some thoughts about Young Justice #16

Whatever happened to Bart Allen?

Bart returned to this world for a reason but nobody, not even himself knows why.

Yeah, at this point you know what you will get from this book: Nothing.

Brian Bendis opens a new storyarc where he "explores" the cliffhanger of the last chapter about the mystery of Bart's return and I say "explores" because he really barely does it. As usual, Bendis spends most of the issue in pointless things like Conner chasing after Bart and in scenes that contribute with basically nothing to the plot and just bring even more questions that most likely will get poor answers or none at all.

If there's something that I kinda digged here is that Bendis references some of Bart's history like his time as Kid Flash and The Flash (The Titans Tomorrow Flash, not the one where he died) but again, this book depends only on nostalgia to be actually enjoyable.

Scott Godlewski handles the art and is solid with a semi-cartoony style that is a nice fit for the series.

Aside from that, yet another waste of time.
