Some thoughts about Batman & the Outsiders #14

The Outsiders need to prepare themselves.

Black Lightning is training under Batman to become stronger and the rest of the team are dangerously under Lady Shiva's mentorship.

Jesus Christ, I'm a broken record here but this series just doesn't change.

Bryan Hill opens a new chapter where guess what? There's poor plot progression. Once again, we're still building-up for the inevitable encounter with Ra's Al Ghul that shouldn't be as important as it should be (I mean, this was solved rather quickly an effectively during a recent arc of Joshua Williamson's Batman/Superman). Is just a boring plot-point and I wish it was over already.

There are decent aspects like the usual solid character work but it all revolves around the mentioned encounter and thus it feels repetitive, again, there's no actual development beyond that.

Dexter Soy's artwork remains stellar with great character models and storytelling. Good thing that doesn't change neither at least.

Can't recommend. Just end already.
