Some thoughts about The Terrifics #22

The time travel never ends.

The Terrifics have been turned into kids and now they will have to face still grown-up Terribles.

Once again this has a few interesting aspects but doesn't quite hit the mark.

Gene Luen Yang delivers a new installment where he continues the time travel theme of this arc. This time the team has returned to their childhood and they act in the way kids their age would in their respective ways which is a fun idea and does present a few entertaining scenes.

That being said, is still not memorable enough due that while the concept is compelling, the execution is not up to par and many of the moments doesn't reach anything beyond "Eh, this is okay". Let's compare this with Jeff Lemire's run that it was lacking in content compared to Yang's but it delivered much more remarkable moments despite of being lighter reads, I think I vastly prefer that.

Stephen Segovia handles the art and is solid with expressive characters and a kinda cartoony style for the kids which is fitting.

This is okay but it should be more than that.
