Some thoughts about The Flash #83

Central City belongs to Cold now.

Captain Cold has taken over Flash's home and now Barry can do very little without his powers and his only hope relies on an old enemy.

Not much happened here but still was a decent read.

Joshua Williamson offers a new installment where he shows what happens when Captain Cold takes over the entire city. Considering that I missed the last issue, this one does a good job at telling you exactly what happened so far so I don't feel like I missed much. The issue offers solid character work from both Barry and Cold whose perspective are nicely portrayed based on their respective experiences.

That being said, I feel like not a lot happened in this chapter since it was mostly a big escape for Barry and the only major twists happens towards the end although that's interesting at least.

Rafa Sandoval handles the art and his work is still fitting for the series thanks to his flexible and energetic style.

Fine enough but I hope the next one is better.
