Some thoughts about Nightwing #4

Which is Nightwing's fate?

Dick Grayson has been trying to follow the lessons of both Batman and Raptor all this time but once that he faces the Parliament of Owls' biggest monsters, he will have to realize he has to follow his own path.

Satisfying conclusion just as expected people.

Tim Seeley delivers the final chapter of his initial story by continue to develope the connection between Nightwing, Batman and Raptor. One of the strongest aspects since the beginning of this run has been the character work and Dick Grayson receives the best parts of it by reflecting into several aspects of his own past and connecting it to their current situation as well as to his dynamic with Raptor. Now we start to realize that there's a bigger similarity between the two than we initially imagined and I'm pretty sure the writer has big ideas about how to explore it.

The ideas are also quite interesting, not only limited to the expansion of the now classic Court of Owls mythos but also to the different themes that the protagonist plays with and the own conclusion he comes with at the end.

Javier Fernandez remains in art duties and his storytelling is still quite consistent with a pretty precise skill. Not only that but his own style fits some of the darkest scenes pretty well.

Great issue and ending. This series simply can't disappoint.
