Some thoughts about Green Lantern: New Guardians #34

The Psions' experiment is about to come to fruition.

The Guardians of the Universe are trying to find a way to escape from the beings they helped create. Kyler Rayner and Carol Ferris will both try to save everyone they can but not even they best efforts will be enough since someone will have to lose his life to protect the rest.

The conclusion for this arc and I would say that it worked quite well for this kind of story.

Justin Jordan once again presents an interesting reinvention and theme that reflects an aspect from the Green Lantern's mythos as well as aspects from Kyle's character that help to emphasize the kind of person he is.

I really enjoyed the way the author used thought bubbles here too. They're implemented in such a way that makes sense instead of making them look like a dated form of storytelling.

Plus, this is basically a prologue to the upcoming Godhead event. I'm sure you will notice.

Brad Walker continues to be the ongoing penciller and his work is as immersive as you would expect. He has created a pretty dark and creepy atmosphere for this storyline which made the setting even more complex.

Satisfactory conclusion as I mentioned, this series never disappoints.
