Some thoughts about Sinestro #5

Sinestro will have to face both his greatest enemy and friend.

Hal Jordan is aware of the current events that have been ocurring due to Sinestro's actions and he won't allow them to continue. Is Sinestro able to beat one of his most feared adversaries.

Mixed thoughts about this one.

On one hand, Cullen Bunn creates a pretty strong issue character-wise and I really enjoy those types of stories. The interactions between Sinestro and Hal are pretty natural and logical considering their history and characterizations while the conflict is presented intensily.

On the other hand, I feel that this was a bit out of character for Hal at the end. The conflict was a bit one-sided towards the final pages and Hal's character suffered because of it, it doesn't make much sense considering this hero's personality and it seems a bit denigrating at times.

Dale Eaglesham's artwork is gorgeous and he makes the story much, much better due to his powerful storytelling skills and wonderful character designs.

Solid issue in some aspects and in others not so much.
