Some thoughts about Justice League Dark #34

Deadman is back to life once again, but the rest of the Justice League Dark might not be as lucky.

Boston is trying to save Nanda Parbat from a creature named Pantheon who is decided to control it and in order to accomplish such mission, he will have to remember why this place is so important for him.

I'm surprised about how satisfying this story was.

This issue represents the conclusion of this little arc and is one that works in many levels. J.M. DeMatteis manages to develope a plot that not only introduces a lot of supernatural concepts to the series but also implements a wonderful type of worldbuilding, the universe of Nanda Parbat is now a much more complex place to explore.

However, one of the best parts is the character work for Deadman. In this chapter we see some aspects of his past that were hidden and what made him the kind of person he is now without losing the sense of classic characterization. Is a really well-executed segment and it also has a nice resolution.

Andres Guinaldo continues on pencils and he has a great ability at depicting the different settings and beings who appear here, everything looks quite detailed.

Excellent conclusion for this storyline, can't wait for the next one.
