Some thoughts about Batman & the Outsiders #15

Is this the final confrontation?

Black Lightning has finally decided to follow Batman's plans and face Ra's Al Ghul once for all.

Yes, it seems like things are finally happening.

Bryan Hill offers a new installment after an extremely dragged storyline, it seems like we're actually having the final fight against Ra's Al Ghul. Sure, we are not still there yet (and we should be) but at least there's a sense of progression after multiple chapters of basically nothing happening and to be fair, the pacing and escalation is in fact pretty solid, it seems like a truly good set-up for what's about to come.

The character bits are also nicely done and this has been one of the constant solid aspects in Hill's work. The whole cast gets interesting moments following the plot (and Jeff gets a pretty cool one) and there's more content than usual because of this as well.

Dexter Soy never fails to amaze in art duties with a kinetic and detailed storytelling that follows the script perfectly.

Not bad but let's if the conclusion doesn't disappoint.
