Some thoughts about Metal Men #9

Can the Metal Men work alongside Will Magnus again?

Chemo is attacking the city and the only ones who can stop him are the Metal Men but there are worst things coming up since the Nth Metal Man's partners are coming after him.

Okay, this worked a little better.

Dan Didio offers a new installment where there's actual development. It's funny since during the last issue I was talking about Didio's previous works like the Phantom Stranger and guess what? The Phantom Stranger makes a cameo here! Mind you, he doesn't come with the backstory that Didio created for him and his role is not that important as a whole but he manages to put the Nth Metal Man in his place in a way that seems to disregard Scott Snyder's ideas for the DCU (which I'm all for).

The issue is also centered around action but this time it presents more fun character moments here and there like the reunion between Magnus and his Metal Men and the fact that Magnus cares so much about his pipe put a smile on my face admitedly.

Shane Davis remains in art duties and again, his work is not that appealing for me but he follows the story decently.

Fine read, hope the last few issues continue this trend.
