How can the Justice League lead an entire planet?
The team is still trying to handle their new responsibilities as rulers of a race but something strange is going on with Batman, something that could ruin everything.
This storyline comes to a conclusion and continues all the strong points.
Si Spurrier delivers the finale by offering a kinda predictable but still satisfactory resolution. Once again, the worldbuilding is the most fascinating aspect here due that the writer is still exploring how this particular race works in terms of their physiology and culture while the Justice League are still getting used to such concepts.
The plot progresses at a nice pace with the cliffhanger of the last chapter being further developed and contributing to a plot twist that pretty much everyone can see coming but still works to create an appropriate solution for the problems of this planet while still keeping everyone in character. Speaking of which, the characterization is still accurate for the most part and I really love how Wonder Woman gets the spotlight here. All of this presents an issue that is very content packed which is great considering that most issues I've read this week have been lacking in that regard.
Aaron Lopresti remains in art duties and his work seems a bit unpolished this time but still, gets the job done in terms of storytelling.
Good read, hope the next one continues the quality.
