Some thoughts about Titans #30

Can the Titans truly stay together?

The team is more broken than ever and Donna will have to find a way to help her friends fight their inner demons despite of her own issues.

Well, I guess this one worked from a character point.

Dan Abnett uses all the constant editorial mandates in his favor to create an appropriate progression for this group. As I mentioned before, Heroes in Crisis along with the new direction for Nightwing completely altered this book for the worst, that being said, Abnett manages to connect all these abrupt changes with the ongoing theme he created about these characters being broken one way or another. From Beast Boy's condition, to Raven's lost soul, to Donna's losses among other problems, is a logical transition that shows what makes all these characters relate to one another and thus makes them feel closer than ever.

The story itself doesn't progress much although Miss Martian's classic origin is still maintained and so allows for a bigger development for her and the team and a classic character could join them at the end.

Minkyu Jung's pencils are really vibrant, creating beautiful and expressive characters along with clear storytelling.

Decent read, let's see how things continue.
