Some thoughts about Justice League #13

Is Lex Luthor Vs. The Joker now.

Lex believes he can control Batman's archenemy and that might be his worst mistake.

Yeah, this has reached pure fanfic writing.

James Tynion IV offers another interlude where he explores Joker's actions concerning the involvement of the Batman who Laughs and is total fan-wankery. The way how the Joker is portrayed here follows Scott Snyder's overpowered version of the Clown Prince of Crime (which is something predictable from Tynion) and it really makes Joker way less interesting since he's able to beat the whole Legion of Doom without much trouble and is almost like he was written by a 10 years old fanboy. This vision for the villain is just too competent for its own good and worst of all, is that the Batman who Laughs is probably even better (worse) in that regard which again, is predictable coming from Tynion.

And the narration doesn't help matters since once again, the dialogue can be pretty overwritten to the point is suffocating. Tynion doesn't leave anything to the imagination and makes me wish he would.

Why? Because Guillem March tells the story perfectly for himself in many instances. This is especially obvious when you check the unlettered preview pages where the expressions and storytelling show you everything you need to know about what's happening. Tynion's narration just ruins a well-told comic.

Just bad and I don't have much hope about what's going to happen next.
