Some thoughts about The Curse of Brimstone #9

Brimstone will have to face his fate.

Joe has been completely consumed by the curse and now the only person who can stop him is Doctor Fate but even his powers might not be enough.

This story continues and while short, this issue is still pretty decent.

Justin Jordan offers a new installment where he explores more about the nature of the curse. The appearance of Doctor Fate allows for an interesting dynamic between Joe and him, showcasing the similarities between their powers and states and how that might connect them in a meaningful way. Joe's condition is still being developed and is shown that Brimstone might not be so different from him in fact.

However, this chapter goes a bit too fast. The pacing is appropriate and presents an interesting battle with solid character moments but the plot doesn't progress that much and makes me wish it had more content.

Eduardo Pansica handles the art and is great with expressive characters and appropriate supernatural visuals.

Good read overall, hope the next one offers more though.
