Can Batman figure out Bane's plans?
Bruce believes Bane has been manipulating all the criminals in Gotham but Commissioner Gordon thinks he has just gone mad.
This story continues and at least this wasn't as bad as the last couple of issues.
Yes, Tom King's story is still fixated in the unbelievable notion that Bane has controlled every little bad thing that happened in Bruce's life all this time and as far-fetched as that is, this chapter as it is, is mildly-entertaining. For one, King explores a few of the most obscure Batman villains and something I can appreciate about him is that he digs into continuity to find a few fun concepts to use (Mind you, in many cases he uses them in the worst way possible but still). That being said, he sometimes can ruin his own good will like with Kite Man whose "Hell Yeah" catchphrase is starting to get really annoying.
The way how the rest of Gotham sees Batman is also interesting enough. Gordon believes that Bruce is losing control and he's starting to lose faith him which is something logical all things considered. Then again, the way how the issue ends still makes me scratch my head because of that character's involvement.
Mikel Janin and Jorge Bornes share the pencils and their work is pretty solid during their respective scenes and follow the story as well as they can.
Decent overall, although I don't have much hope about the next one.
