Can The Flash deal with another Force user?
Barry has just met Fuerza and while she might let him now more about the Strength Force, other people might not be happy with their new partnership.
Another chapter, another decent read.
Joshua Williamson continues with his exploration of the new Forces by introducing a brand new character. Fuerza presents an interesting perspective from another user because of her motivations concerning her people and how her own experience is connected to Barry's which shows how the users might have more in common than they think. She even offers her own antagonists which is a good example of worldbuilding.
That being said, and this might be a bit of a nitpick but, "Fuerza" is an incredibly simple name for a Hispanic character. It seems like whenever writers create a new Latino hero or villain they give them the easiest codenames (or whatever they think sounds "cool") like "Fuerza" or "Azucar" (Yeah, I still dislike that one). That being said, at least the Spanish is decently implemented here, is a bit stiff but still readable unlike in the last few El Diablo stories.
Rafa Sandoval's pencils are as fluid as always, being able to depict the speed and action scenes perfeclty.
Appropriate enough issue, hope the next one is better though.
