Some thoughts about Deathstroke #38

Can Deathstroke survive Arkham's immates?

Slade continues to lose himself inside of the asylum and worst of all is that this might the plan of the worst criminals in Gotham.

A bit short but still appropriate as a whole.

Christopher Priest continues his character work by trying his best to break the protagonist. Slade is suffering like never before inside of Arkham Asylum where most of Batman's enemies are trying to destroy him both physically and mentally. Priest uses his expertise to handle different scenarios at the same time to work in many characters, the focus goes to Slade obviously but characters like Rose and Two-Face also receive part of the spotlight to shine their complicated dynamic.

That being said, I feel like this arc has been going for a bit too long due that many of the same themes that have been used in the last couple of issues are being repeated here and for that reason, I feel like this read went a bit too fast and didn't have much content.

Fernando Pasarin's artwork is still great with beautiful characters and precise storytelling.

Decent read, hope this story is coming to an end though.
