The Suicide Squad's doom continues.
El Diablo will have to deal with a Mexican God and Amanda Waller will have to secure the success of her team.
Still, not feeling half of this.
Jai Nitz continues his story about El Diablo and at this point I don't even care. Is just a dull story with predictable and rushed developments along with dialogue that is even duller. There are a few entertaining aspects like how he uses some Hispanic superheroes from DCU including the obscure El Dorado from Superfriends but aside from that there's not a lot to see. Cliff Richards remains in art duties and his work is the best part of this thanks to his semi-realistic and detailed style.
Then comes the story about Amanda Waller written by Vita Ayala and it might as well be called simply "Suicide Squad" since is about the whole team. That being said, is a much better story than El Diablo with a more interesting plot, characterization and direction. Matt Merkoff captures the script perfectly with his semi-cartoony and expressive style.
Once again, I can only recommend one of these stories. You know which.
