Is Wally West gone?
Wally has sacrificed himself to save his loved ones but he will soon realize he needs to come back for them as well.
The conclusion of this overly-long story is here and is actually a solid one.
Dan Abnett delivers an interesting issue where he focuses on Wally and the struggles he has to face in this new life. The way how the Speed Force is implemented to create an alternate life where he's with Linda is quite on-point and creates an interesting contrast between his previous life and his current one. Plus, Abnett manages to expand the Lightning Rod concept in a logical way to fit into the new status quo while also creating interesting plot-points for the future.
THE PROBLEM is that this story was waaay too long for the kind of premise they were going for, Abra Kadabra is not that interesting of an antagonist to justify so much attention and many of the issues barely had any content. The plot dragged way too much for its own good.
Brett Booth's art is fitting especially during the speed scenes that are pretty kinetic and vibrant.
This would have been a better finale if only the story would have been told in less issues but alas that was not the case.
