Hawkman and Adam Strange will have to run for their lives.
Despero has regained his strength and now is ready to start a new war and is up to both Katar and Adam to stop him before is too late.
This is fortunately becoming more enjoyable.
Marc Andreyko offers a new installment where he focuses mostly on characterization and is pretty successful in that regard. The interactions between Katar and Adam are really entertaining, Andreyko do knows how to write fun and engaging dialogue that manages to develope their characters and relationship. There are several nice moments featuring their dynamic.
The plot also progresses nicely since Despero is reintroduced as a pretty powerful threat that is ready to increase his menace by gathering his own army while manipulating others. Is good to know that he wasn't forgotten.
Aaron Lopresti and Rodney Buschemy share art duties and they maintain a consistent and detailed style during the course of the story.
Not bad at all, hope it continues this way.
