The ultimate battle between the Justice League and the Suicide Squad continues.
Amanda Waller believes she can control the Justice League but she doesn't know that Maxwell Lord is controlling all of them.
Well, this is still was pretty enjoyable.
Joshua Williamson continues his storyline about the battle between these two teams and to be fair, he does a solid at making such a simple premise work. The characterization is one of the best aspects here since is not only a big battle, Williamson does try to build the relationships between some of these characters and recreate their previous ones that were forgotten. The mentions about the histories between Wonder Woman and Harley Quinn, The Flash and Captain Boomerang and Aquaman and Killer Croc were some nicely executed moments.
Plus, the plot itself and Max's plans are still progressing and makes me wonder when things are going to get even more intense once that he enters into the scene properly.
Tony Daniel handles the artwork and he's a nice choice for the book thanks to his beautiful characters and his skill to depict action scenes at their best.
Surprised how this is actually working, hope the rest of the event is the same.
