Nightwing will have to learn Raptor's true nature.
Raptor has been watching over Dick since the death of his parents and while he believes that Bruce Wayne is the reason why he went soft, he doesn't understand all of it.
The conclusion of the Rise of Raptor arc is here and is just as satisfying as one would hope for.
Tim Seeley offers the finale focusing on the last battle between Nightwing and Raptor and while some aspects might be heavyhanded, others seem quite on-point. The way how Raptor starts talking about "Rich people, RICH PEOPLE, PRIVILEGE!" can become repetitive and tiring very quickly but then you start realizing that this is actually part of the character work that Seeley is planning, about how Raptor ultimately wants to blame everyone but himself and in that regard, is pretty accurate.
The contrast between their personalities is still there and you start learning that Raptor got everything wrong about the core of Dick and Bruce's dynamic and how both understand each other perfectly and much more than Raptor will ever be able to. This kind of scenes demonstrate how much Seeley gets the character and his world and how he wasn't going to change such dynamic simply because of his new creation's theme, that's simply admirable.
Javier Fernandez remains in art duties and his work is consistently improving with better looking character models and strong, STRONG storytelling that makes every segment great.
Excellent issue and cements this book as the best from the Batman line.
