Some thoughts about Batman/Superman #12

Where are Batman and Superman now?

Batwoman and Steel have arrived to the Batcave to hear Bruce's warning message of a threat that could destroy everyone.

New arc beginning and seems solid so far.

Joshua Williamson opens another storyline in a different manner this time. The protagonists of this story are Batwoman and Steel just as much as Batman and Superman which is interesting since is not a team-up you commonly see but their connection to the main characters makes their inclusion seem appropriate. Plus, the writer manages to get the whole cast appropriately, I continue to dig the way Williamson writes the dynamic between Bruce and Clark ("Sorry to destroy another one of your toys").

About the plot, it progresses at a nice pace and the contrast between what both Batwoman and Steel with what's actually happening in handled solidly. The escalation to the appearance of Brainiac is also nicely executed despite that the cover pretty much reveals the surprise.

Max Raynor's artwork is good looking with expressive characters and a vibrant style.

Good read, hope things continue this way.
