Some thoughts about Teen Titans #35

The traitor has been revealed.

Roundhouse never accepted Robin's plans and with good reason since everything he has done has caused more harm than good.

Well, this issue delivered a pretty interesting conflict.

Adam Glass brings a new installment where he explores Roundhouse's sudden betrayal and it actually makes more sense than I was expecting. At first I was disappointed because it seemed like Glass was not portraying as evil as he seemed at the end of last chapter but this ultimately works for the better due to the explanation he gives and is all connected to Robin's actions since the beginning of this run and the death of Billy's sister and makes everything comes full circle playing with the themes that this book has been dealing with since Glass came on board in a pretty logical way.

The ideas of kidnapping villains and brainwashing them are quickly brought and Roundhouse presents a pretty rational view from someone with a clearer sense of good and evil, someone who has lost more than anyone in this team. Damian doesn't get the best treatment here but all of this is because he's Damian and he can be stubborn as hell.

Bernard Chang remains in pencils and his work is still solid from a character standpoint with clear expressions and a vibrant style.

Pretty good read, favorite this week so far.
