Some thoughts about Justice League #33

Justice League is not enough.

Perpetua and her forces continue to destroy everything on their path and to face them, the team will need even more help.

Yeah, this is getting repetitive isn't it?

Scott Snyder and James Tynion IV deliver a new chapter where they follow the same exact formula that they've been doing during this arc and run as a whole if you're honest. There's the typical cosmic action scenes that are accompanied by big chunks of exposition along with the now predictable rise of Dragon Ball Z power levels (Now all the Monitors have fused into an Ultra-Monitor for God's sake) and this is getting pretty tiring.

Worst of all is that the "surprises" are starting to seem like desperate attempts of making this story more interesting somehow. Just to save you some time, the Justice League Beyond appears at the end and this is not surprising anymore since pretty much every single team that was missing is appearing here, the problem is that the plot is not engaging enough to justify it. The scope of the story is apparently huge but is actually pretty shallow once that you think about it.

Bruno Redondo and Daniel Sampere handle the art and is really solid with a vibrant style and strong action scenes.

Aside from that, just end already.
