Some thoughts about Daredevil #4

Daredevil will have to face both old and new enemies at the same time.

Matt has just fallen into the trap of The Shroud and The Owl but that's not the only plan from both villains. Now, Matt will have to find a way to save one of them from killing himself and stop another from getting more power than he could imagine.

Mark Waid continues to write one of the best Daredevil runs that I've read.

The author simply gets the character right. From his classic and charming moments to even his most desperate ones and the little hints about his tragic background, everything works perfectly in this story and portrays the hero perfectly.

The Shroud is also a nice depiction of a "Daredevil gone wrong", he's pretty much what Matt Murdock would have become if he would have let tragedy take the best of him (although it happened in the past). The outcome of the battle presents an interesting plot-point that will most certainly be interesting.

Chris Samnee continues to play an important role in this series based on his artwork. With strong storytelling techniques and a quite appealing style he makes Waid's script much stronger.

Excellent issue, one of the most consistent reads from each month.
