Some thoughts about Green Lantern #32

Can Hal Jordan turn the tides against the Durlans?

The war against the Green Lantern Corps continue to increase its magnitude and the leader of the Corps will have no other choice but start trusting in one of his previous enemies since the Durlans immediate objective is not exactly Daxam but another source of energy that was quite close to the Corps all this time.

This is the third chapter of the "Uprising" crossover event being told between the Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps titles and so far it's delivering at presenting interesting twists to the story.

I have mentioned this before but I really enjoy the character work that Robert Venditti has been creating for Hal Jordan, from the last few issues he has been demonstrated that he's learning from his mistakes and actually approaching things like a true leader should. This issue is no different since he starts taking a different course of action with Nol-Anj to be able to win the war against the Durlans.

Plus, the rest of the characters receive some good share of characterization, especially a member from the Corps that has been explored recently and there was actually reason for that. I like how well planned this was.

Billy Tan continues to bring really vibrant art that is especially great on the action scenes and when any member from the GLC created their constructs, it's really well done.

Another great issue from this crossover. Good to know that is just continuing next week.
