Jessica has been reborn and now is ready to face Darkseid, or at least that's what she thinks.
A new chapter is here and there are a few surprises.
Dan Abnett offers a new installment where he creates an interesting character work. The development is mostly given to Jessica who gets a brand new confidence now that she has been revived with new abilities and this is reflected on her relationship with the new cast, especially Blackfire and Dex Starr whose dynamic seems pretty entertaining.
There's also a bit of plot progression due that there's a pretty important reveal about one of the members of the cast, something that I really wasn't expecting but his inclusion into the story seems appropriate enough considering the antagonist.
ChrisCross and Cliff Richards share the pencils and their work is decent enough separately but their clash a bit with one another at times.
Aside from that, decent read. Hope the next one offers more content though.
