Can The Black Flash be stopped?
Hunter Zolomon believes he can be the greatest Flash there is and to prove it he's willing to make what no other Speedster has done.
This has delivered quite a few interesting plot-points.
Joshua Williamson offers a new installment where he focuses mostly on Hunter's role in the story. As I mentioned before, I thought Hunter's inclusion was kinda forced since there was already too much stuff going on in this arc and not a lot was progressing as it should for the main plot, that being said, Williamson creates a pretty intriguing development here.
Hunter's classic backstory is further explored, the one where he misunderstood the M.O. of a criminal called The Clown which costed the life of his father in law. Williamson actually shows that there might have been more than what it initially seemed concerning that whole tragedy and makes me wonder what's going to happen next. Plus, Hunter's character work continues which is connected to a new reveal for the Forces and a solid cliffhanger.
Scott Kolins' artwork is appropriate here due that he replicates the origin he gave to Hunter nicely and he has a pretty classic feel for the series.
Good read, hope the next one is satisfying.
