Carter has finally realized his role in the current attack and he will need to protect the Earth from his old colleagues despite that the odds are against him.
Not a lot happened here to be honest but it was still okay.
Robert Venditti opens a new chapter where he finally brings the ramifications of all the book has been building-up. The attack of the Deathbringers has finally occurred and this gives Carter the responsibility to stop them no matter what. There are a few logical moments of characterization and the action is well-paced I guess.
That being said, very little happened. This issue is pretty much a big fight, mind you, is something that has been escalating for a while so you knew this was going to happen but still makes me wish the installment had more content.
Bryan Hitch remains in art duties and he still shows a decent skill at creating his classic widescreen panels.
I guess this is serviceable but the next one better offer more.
