Some thoughts about The Flash #64

Whatever happened to Gotham Girl?

Bruce and Barry are trying to investigate the events connected to Sanctuary and this will lead them to a deranged superpowered girl who only wants to be a hero.

This arc continues and is still decent enough.

Joshua Williamson delivers a new installment by exploring more about the relationship between Bruce and Barry. I believe that Williamson really nails the dynamic between the two by portraying Bruce as the classic overly-serious detective and Barry as the more lighthearted one but at the same time he manages to find a middle point for both of them showing that they're really good friends despite of their differences.

The events of Heroes in Crisis have affected them in different ways and is great how this is reflected based on their own perspectives. The writer manages to create quite a few emotional moments that are really accurate to their characters because of this.

The plot is mostly centered around the threat of Gotham Girl and this is something that Tom King pretty much forgot about during his run so it makes sense for someone else to handle it. Is tragic but understandable.

Rafa Sandoval's artwork is vibrant as always with a great sense of storytelling and energy in every scene.

Nice read, hope the next one offers more plot progression though.
