Sanctuary's mystery is starting to affect the world's greatest heroes.
Batman and The Flash continue their investigation about what happened to their fellow heroes and this will lead to the erratic behavior that Gotham Girl has been showing lately.
A new crossover between Batman and The Flash has begun and just like The Button, it's starting promising enough.
Joshua Williamson is in charge once again and speaking as someone who, at best, tolerates Tom King's run, this is a welcome change. The differences between tones is pretty obvious from the get go since Williamson doesn't focus on overwhelming style and pretense and prefers instead to tell a more straightforward story based on the events of Heroes in Crisis which is admitedly not something too positive but at the very least, he handles a few concepts that were forgotten.
The characterization for both Bruce and Barry is pretty solid due that it shows the ramifications the current event has on both and portrays their relationship and roles really respectfully. Even a few characters that King himself forgot like Gotham Girl receive a role here and something that makes me wonder where things are going.
Guillem March's artwork is really good looking with beautiful characters that seem really imposing and accurate storytelling.
Good read, hope the next one continues this trend.
